I need a ski for my wife. She is an advanced skier. She skis about half BC half resort however she does not necessarily need a pow ski as she currently rides my Bibby's in BC. I would like something that is somewhat capable in the BC however resort is more of a priority. I was thinking 95-100mm waist 175cm with tip rocker. Also want to get them for cheap so last years. I was thinking 2013 shoguns. Give me some ideas NS
I came here to tell you not to be bound by the range of "women's" products because I think the concept is silly in general, but I see you already know what's good haha.
You should check out the Armada TST. It comes in a 174, medium flex and Armada makes light, good quality stuff.
More info is needed about your wife, such as if she's hot, what her hair colour is, boob size and etc. I picture to know she's real would be ideal too.
She already rides a mens ski and the ski he is considering is also a mens ski. I think OP figured this out already.
I've been looking for a similar ski for myself recently. TST's like pfo suggested would be worth a look. I have also been considering the ON3P Viciks, 4frnt Turbos and Blizzard Dakotas as I have found them all for decent sale prices. The Viciks/Dakotas may be a little wider than you were considering but don't seem to sacrifice much despite that.
You can get the K2 missbehaved for $330 right now. It's the same ski as the K2 Kung fujas just with a girly graphic slapped on there. It's a solid resort ski, carves nicely but has the ability to float moderate amounts of pow. Normally I wouldn't recommend a woman's ski but it's literally the same ski as the Fujas. Only comes in a 169 but due to K2's wonky measurements it's going to be more like 174 actual.
Another vote for the tst. I use it as my everyday ski and LOVE it. I will never not have a pair of tst in my quiver. Another added bonus is that she will have multiple graphics to choose from as the tst and TSTw are the exact same ski and are both made in the 174cm.
