South park is better as well. He'll probably be back. Not that I watch the show anymore but at least nobody will have to hear Seth MacFarlane try and make a point for a while.

am i the only one (god i hate when people say that, sorry) who thinks south park is completely dried up? people act like theyre some kind of satirical geniuses for making fun of current events and politics. pretty easy to just make fun of EVERYTHING when you never have to defend any standpoint of yours beyond some preachy dribble at the end sometimes

it used to be good, but IMO they've jumped the shark and become too formulaic.. "okay what are we doing this week? well what's big in pop culture? let's make one joke about it and run it into the ground for 22 minutes" "genius. pass the blow and the laptop"

it's been confirmed that seth, doesn't want family guy to be a show anymore. Google it, i've been told that he's going to start killing off the other members of the show and in place of family guy make a remake of the flintstones/jetsons.

Maybe, but I haven't watched south park in 3 or 4 years other than a few episodes.

As far as making fun of everything maybe you don't get it. There's a difference between making fun of everything and making a point. Family guy involves stupid shit and making fun of people, south park spreads some logic in a pretty damn amusing way.

If you want to talk preachy dribble, some of the family guy episodes where brian tries to make a point = weaksauce.

It seems like you were never much a fan of south park anyway. IF you don't like it that's fine, I personally think it's brilliant but whatever.

i used to think that South Park was funny but recently i havent enjoyed the new episodes. i still find the old ones funny so i know its not my sense of humor changing, but the show. its gone downhill for sure.

however in their defense they make a pretty damn good show with a huge following  in 6 days.

also i havent found family guy that funny either. parts make me chuckle but its overall just really stupid predicable comedy. much funnier shows out there. however it is good for mild entertainment

yeah, youre def right that it's worth noting that they make each show in 6 days. but do they even have to do that?

but yeah idk family guy will piss me off to no end with repetitive jokes etc, but then one scene will make me laugh my ass off just thinking about it days later. so i have mixed feelings

If you can count the comedic equivalent of dangling keys in front of your face "humor," then sure...

Family Guy has had its moments - there's no denying that. But if you can't at least acknowledge that it's lazy, vapid, writing, I can only assume you are either a teenager or a plebeian (likely both). Not that there's anything wrong with mindless humor; I'm just saying let's call a cat a cat here, folks.

to believe in the new episodes you need to look at them in a different mindset. The past two containing the Console War and mass Game of Thrones callouts was brilliant, because they just want you to understand how stupid you look by doing what you do. EHHMMM MILEY CYRUS!!!!! So give it a chance, also smoke a bunch of pots before always helps.

as for Family Guy, Brian's death has made me depressed over the recent week, not pleased about it one bit
