i just booked a flight out to SLC to ski for a week during my winter break. the deal with my grandpa was that he would buy my plane ticket if I could pay for my lift tickets. since I am a broke college kid, I am looking for some good deals on lift tickets. do any resorts give discounts for college students? someone please enlighten me. k+ for helping me out.
Brighton does a couple of events like this with canned food, clothes, ect. $20 lift tickets are pretty hard to beat for UT.
If snow conditions aren't that great when you get out here, stick to night riding @ PC / Brighton and buy a day pass to Alta when you know the weather is going to be prime. If you are really friendly/good at making friends/hot try talking to lifties they often get free passes to other resorts and can give away to friends.
I think you can get a discounted or free ticket if you buy it at the airport the day you get there, or something like that. I also heard that some people at EpicSki are getting discounted lift tickets through a hotel they're staying at, might want to check out their Utah/SLC meetup thread. Not sure on the details, I just have an Alta/Snowbird season pass.
