Hard decisions

i got a hard decision to make this winter break.

i have 2 choices

choice #1: Go skiing everyday during winter break.

choice #2: Go to florida for the entire winter break with my girl.

What is the best choice?

Nah it's not worth all of the days you will miss, that's like picking which college to go to because your girlfriend is going there. After like 6-12 months she'll be gone and you'll be regretting how you missed skiing for the girl.

My dad had a story like this


He got the opportunity to come out west with friends to snowbird for a week, or he could stay in town with his girlfriend.

He chose to stay. He and that girl didn't end up becoming anything and he regrets not taking advantage of that trip.



In your case, if you've got activities lined up for Florida and you don't need to pay a cent then I would go on that trip and then use the money you could have spent to go there to go on a ski trip.

Dude go to florida! skiing isnt usually that good in december anyway depending on where you live. You have the whole rest of the season to ski and summer if you are so inclined. And how often does a dude get to go to hang on a beach with a babe for no money. seems like a no brainer to me

In 2004 I got tickets for game 2 of the world series in boston. My friends and I had, you know, slept out on the sidewalk all night to get tickets. My girlfriend wanted me to come with her to meet her parents. I wanted to go to that game so bad but I loved my gf. I was at the bar with my friends a few days before. I decided I was going to make my girl happy and go with her. I just slid my ticket across the table, and I said, "Sorry, guys, I gotta see about a girl." I made the right choice though. Ended up marrying her. It was a great game but there will be others. The same can't be said for my wife.

OP now has realized that if he says that he went to Florida that he will get karma raped. OP will then "cleverly" decide to go to Florida but say that he went skiing. Because he is proud of himself for outsmarting NS it is certain that he will choose Florida and say he went skiing. If OP is smart he will go skiing and say that he went skiing and provide proof that he went skiing by posting pics. If OP is dumb then he will go to Florida and say that he went skiing without producing pics. So if OP does not produce pics he will be karma raped.

If OP wants to post pics of his gf in an attempt to sway NS to justify him missing TEN WHOLE DAYS OF SKIING!!! Then so be it.

Have fun with your gf OP because it sounds like you made up your mind already.

So basically its stay home where there is snow to ski on or go to Florida with your GF?


Your proping up skiing at your local mountain for 10 days like its an Alps trip.  Its not.  10 days off the mountain is nothing.


Now if there is something shitty about Florida you aren't telling us thats a different story.
