Im a complete camera noob but want to get more into filming so how does the battery hold up in the cold. I know some batteries quickly die out. Is it easily breakable. What are some things you dislike about it when skiing? And what are some things you like about it when skiing?
^^ what he said. The battery life drops so much more rapidly. Bring 2-3 battery per day of filming. You will go through them quickly. Get a 16mb higher SD card. videos take up tons of space. Get a stabilizer. Hand held videos are shaky as fuck if you are skiing with the camera on. Get a cheap pro-grip or something. Also make sure you have something to clean you camera lens if it gets snow on it. Wear good gloves or mittens because your hands are going to be cold. Good luck dude!
