Yes, the freeskiing scene is a bunch of well dressed young individuals seeking to intellectually better themselves.

JKLOL kids love to party and have a good time. it's part of the life, always has been, always will be. the day when freeskiing as a whole has to maintain a clean image is the day i say fuck that, i'm out

I'm fine with skiing having a different, rawer, unique image. I think that baggy can look good, I don't really have a problem with no poles unless it starts to take over the park scene, and I think the occassional rap song in an edit is alright.

However, when it starts to get fucking ridiculous is when I like to draw the line. Wu Tang stickers on helmets and thinking that you are a thug because you park ski is fucking absurd. A lot of kids like to hide behind the whole "it's just us having fun, we're being unique" thing while actually trying to be something that they are not.
