It really doesn't matter when you break out the new boards, the rocks will find you.

What in the hell could do THAT to a ski? That's the worst core shot I've ever seen.

I'll assume that damage occurred in thin cover rocks..? Correct ? That's no warranty coverage '

I got head to warrante a pair of The shows last season after I had hit rails with them for like 15 - 20 days out. Had an edge just peel out of the ski on one side up near the tip for no reason in the middle of teaching a lesson. Granted I figure they felt like they had to out of guilt for having such horrible edge design. (seriously who makes skis that have 4 separate pieces of metal on ONE ski.)

It looks like one of the machine screws on a box was sticking up, at least that's what i've seen skis look like when they came into my old shop from that

Naw, they warranted it for you because you did it teaching a lesson. If you did it as Joe Schmo you would not have gotten a warrantee for that.

Its not like there is a section for 'Ski failed while teaching'. I just said it peeled out during normal use after less than half a season.

And what I'm saying is that they warranteed it for you BECAUSE you're a ski instructor and not a joe schmoe. I was a ski instructor for two years too. I'm not hating. I'm just saying that they took your work over a joe schmoe.

The factory had no idea that I was an instructor. Sure my local shop did but even they were pretty sure that they were not going to warranted them. When a new pair came in all of us were surprised.
