Adobe CC/CS/Elements

I am looking to get Premier/Photoshop. I will be editing mainly GoPro and DSLR stuff. I have used CS5/CS6 at my school and was wondering if the CC(Creative Cloud) is the same thing? Also, how different is Elements? Could I just hop in from CS6 or would it be a new learning curve?

CC is the same as CS6/CS5.5/CS5 they just made small changes. If you're in school, you can get the whole suite for like $30 a month.

Nope, adobe is subscription based only now.

You could get it for free very easily if you wanted.

That's what a lot of people. do. When they're just starting, they'll crack it. Then, once they start making money using it, they pay because they can afford it.

CS6 was cracked with a text file that is like 10 lines.. crazy shit.

I'm pretty sure you can still buy it and own it as a one time buy. The only difference is that they aren't doing hardcopy, boxed editions anymore I thought. Unless I misunderstood Adobe's confusing website.

same with pretty much every adobe program, cs5 and earlier was a little harder but adobe made cs6 and newer 100 times easier haha
