What she did for the sport of lacrosse, however, was make the sport hit the national news and in all actuality caused a pique in interest in the sport. She remains a whore, and now better get used to making lipstick from kool-aid.

Is there a group of people harder to sympathize with than the fucking Duke lax team?  I knew it was bullshit but enjoyed the scandal in the same way I'd have totally enjoyed the Ped St scandal and the god like Paterno finally getting deserved negative pr even if the truth was Sandusky never fiddled kids in the stadium showers.

I actually know a couple of dudes that were involved in the scandal and they're pretty good guys and even nicer kids.

"All frat guys and lacrosse dudes are douchebags, bro!!" And I'm guessing you're the man.

Stop acting as if you wouldn't be down with the idea of having a stripper over if you and your buddies were hanging around late night, getting drunk, and tossing around ideas like that.

RElax I don't like lax since I was a goalie and it wasn't fun and Im a Syracuse fan and we lost to Duke and that national title would have strengthened our hold on being the best program of all time.  I know they got screwed.

The other thing about the sport of lacrosse is its a much cooler game at a lower level when the ball actually hits the ground and it becomes a tough physical game.  At the highest level its boring.  I think its a legit gripe that the college game is so stale and not physical like lacrosse is supposed to be.  Its not the game Jim Brown dominated and preferred to pigskin.  If it was anything like football like the game should be it would be great.

I respect womens lax more basically and mens lax in college is equally physical to the ladies game it just requires skill to catch the ball.

Point stands though that they are the last group of people anyone would sympathize with.


I was made an honorary brother of a frat I don't hate frats but if the ratio is 50 chill kids to 10 douches the frat can still collectively be lame.  And I wouldn't have gone through rush and eaten sticks of butter every night and puked non stop just for friends.

Yeah sitting around watching 3 hrs of players waliking around and 10 min of play time is much better than watching someone crank a 105 mph shot in lacrosse

Lax is the toughest sport easily when you are in middle school or HS freshman team just starting sports.

By college (at least at the high level I've never seen a D3 game) its less physical than a non contact sport like hoop or soccer.

The ball doesn't touch the ground and there aren't many big hits (D have those long ass sticks why take themselves out of position to hit someone.)

Suck my ass its a perfectly fair comparison for why a fun game to play sucks balls to watch and why there is ZERO interest in it as a spectator sport even places where just as many kids play the game as do baseball.

She deserves even more than 30 after all the shit she's done in her life. She's a complete piece of shit and suffered zero consequences from the rape accusations. She ruined people's lives, caused the Duke lacrosse coach to be forced to resign, caused the whole team's season to be forfeited and now this shit.

The fact that they believed her in the first place is ridiculous. All because the DA wanted a hate crime case under his belt.
