They both have very similar dimensions. i live on the east ski a bit of pow no more than 8 in. Usually park 70% all mountain 30. I want a ski where i can rip anywhere. what is the difference between the 2 besides the side cut.

Flex pattern. Halo is wayyyy softer. I would personally go Halos but the alphas are sick. try to go get a feel for the flex in person

the alpha has a faster base than the halo but I would go halo. The halo has a medium flex, its no noodle but not a stiff charger either. The rocker makes them butter. That 95 waist is plenty to keep you afloat out east with the rocker. Stayed afloat in a foot in arvs last season.

Go with the alphas for sure if u want an all mtn park ski. They are a little stiffer than the Halos, which dramatically increases versatility, edge grip, and stability, but they are still soft enough to butter around.
