From Pennsylvania but right on the Delaware river so I'm real close. I've been to mountain creek a few times and loved it actually, but it's a solid 2 hours from where I'm at so I typically just go to the poconos or something.
Creeks park is shit in recent years. Used to be sweet when it moved from vernon peak down to south but its been in steady decline since. For nj creek is awesome, but it gets kinda wild having the entire tri-state AND the largest city on the east shred on a hill with 1200 vertical
I'm getting my pass to Mountain Creek this winter.. I live in NY but Creek is only a 40 min drive after class.. I'm hoping they start blowing snow with the cold temps in the 2nd half of the 10 day forecast. It would be sick if they had great coverage for all of college break.
I'm only on my 2nd season but for how close Creek is I liv that f'in place, the final slope b4 the bottom is sweeet. Grab a season pass n ill c ya there!
They just posted pictures on fb and the 'gram about starting snowblowing when this cold front sets in!!!!! Stoked!!!!!! The 10 day forecast looks TITS.
Who knows? Maybe open for thanksgiving weekend
/speculation
For you fellas close to creek I got some sweet spots to hot urban in Middletown ny about 30 mins away. Pm me and let's go shred now that there's some snow
Heading to south today at 3:00. I would be happy if it was half as packed and only had to wait 15 minutes minutes on the lift line..But for real, yesterday was packed but very expected on a Sunday after some snow. Someone should manage the line situation better but hey, it is south and it's a free-for-all. Heading there Tuesday at 3:00 for sure to shred 3-5 inches of expected gnar!
They have 4 jumps and 22 features. Doing it big early season for NJ
