So, im somewhat of a musician. I can play guitar at an intermediate level i guess, but for the last few years ive wanted to learn how to play the drums. Are they any drummers here that can give me some advice on how to get started? Any kind of help from you guys would be awesome.

Get a good practice pad and work on holding the sticks right (not a joke hahah) and proper form. Buy a few of those books like Alfreds or something and honestly just work on chops. Then work up to the set and splitting limbs. Do you have a kit you could use already?

if youre just starting id get a tama stagestar. dont make em anymore and you can get them really cheap. they are small for playing at little gigs but honestly i tuned it up and it was great to learn on when i first started. i still have it just in case i dont want to bring my huge pearl masters out and about

Buy some sort of rudiments book and a practice pad to start, that will get your muscle memory up and then switch to a drum set and start out with simple beats and then just practice all sorts of styles by copying whatever you listen to and then BOOM, you can play the drums. Play quiet until you're good though, no one wants to hear shitty drumming

I doubt it, you have to have a drumstick to do that. Instead you have a vagina (couldn't think of an drum analogy for vagina)
