All you hating on this guy, need to pull your heads out of your asses. You might want to take a moment and sift through his videos, and pics. See what it would have been like in the early days of New School. See who he was shredding with. See what a half pipe looked like in 02. You guys would all be racers or snowboarders without guys like this who lead the way. Show some fucking respect.
For sure. It's super cool though. Check out his cork seven video. All the comments are praise about the cool camera angle, which all he did was ski underneath the guy doing the cork 7 and it's hard as shit to see what even is going on. I thought it was pretty funny.
It wasn't like wide angle lenses were common back then. Try doing a follow with a Sony Handy Cam with no wide angle lens. Trying to keep the skier in the shot is like amateur night at a whore house.
hahaha yeah I can only imagine how difficult it would be. I just found humor in the fact that it was considered cool to get the skier in the shot, whereas today you'd be ridiculed if the skier leaves the frame for even half a second. The times, they are a-changin'.
