178 Too Big

Hey Guys,
I just got the 178 Al Dente's. I am 5'10 -5'11 and 136 lbs. These skis are exactly my height. Are they too big for me? Should I drop down to the 168 or are they ok?

I'd say because of the rocker in the tip you're probably fine.

at 510 i would keep them, you are pretty tall, and that is the proper size i would say

Keep them. In my opinion, skis that are your height or a little taller are perfect

I'm pretty much the same size and the shortest ski I own is a 180cm. Stick with the 178

That's close to perfect IMO. Although if you could gain 20 lbs itd be more perfect, just saying.

Shit man, Im a little more than 6,1 and have 169 volkl walls. Those are perfect. Dont take advice from these guys.

definitely don't go smaller.

To this guy ^^ It really depends on the amount you ski, preference, and ability, but if I were you I'd try out some longer skis. You'll find you have better control and you're more stable at high speeds and in variable conditions once you get used to them.

I'm the same height as you and I ride 169s or 171s. I've ridden 174s before and they were a little more clumsy for park but you can make do with 178s without any problem.

I am about 5 7 or so and i ski 176.... If anything check out the size bigger and see how you like them..
