Wasup people of the planks! I'm still looking for a boot and the full tilts caught my eye w/ more than one model(esp those '09 purp zebra hotdoggers). But I'm dumb, so are those boots ment for people with crooked' legs or sumthing? I was told they are adjustable from straight to slanted... Any info or a link or sum shit would be great
The design has some advantage over other designs. The three-piece boot flexes more naturally, and is lightweight. However they are pretty soft, and someone who is coming from a racey background might not like them for that reason.
no. personal preference and weight will determine what flex you should have. go to a bootfitter. they will tell you what boot to get. get that boot. it really is that simple
Got that part from the last 3 peeps, again ther mee are no good beet feeters in my area. Which brings to the forum.. That keeps telling me to go to a fitter.
The forum is the worst boot fitter of all. Go to the shop, measure your foot ask for appropriate shell sizes of boots with the correct last. Buy which one of those feels the best.
Personally I think soft boots aren't great for park unless you're really short/lightweight. I find with a stiffer boots doing butters and flexing the ski is a lot easier, also I find stiffer boots are better for skiing switch especially at high speeds.
I'm 6'0 155 tall skinny phuck. I do love flat outt speed but it goes by quick. I find myself in the park more so probally something on the stuff side. I also use non-release bindings on ~95cm ski boards of that makes a difference and do like having max maneuverability.
Side note what boots run on the wide side if any? I use my buddy's cheapo 29s(I'm a 10.5/11) and they KILL the side of my feet for the first 3-5 runs
