It may be hard for you to understand that there are other niche markets out there, but trust me, there are.

Those are just three examples of entire websites catering to "fashionistas". It is a very real, very profitable market. I can't find the "purple striped, oversized vest" that you're talking about, but if you look at their recent offerings, you'll see that many of them are much more "toned down" that what they have put out in previous years (not to mention that streetwear has a history of ridiculous, oversized clothing, see coogi sweaters).
You're welcome to hold to your conspiracy theory, I just think it's a lot more reasonable (and it makes sense from their design choices) that they are attempting to take their brand in a new direction (especially since Pete has confirmed that this is the case, multiple times). I would even go as far to say that I bet the majority of Jiberish purchased in their latest drop will never be skied in.
Jiberish is not made for sking. They are known for sweatshirts, not technical outerwear. Their brand HAS had a close affinity to skiing since their inception, which I find awesome. Your overcharging argument has no base, do you know how much custom cut and sew hoodies cost to produce? How much their raw materials cost by the foot? If you don't, there is no way you can honestly say that they are overpriced, except in your own opinion.
