Also, for anyone interested in progressing past the backflip once you nail that down.. the rodeo is pretty easy to do as well.
Once you're comfortable enough to stomp out your backflips you can work on these.. It's really all in your head, and the biggest problem you'll have not landing this is if you hesitate.. Essentially, when you hit the lip on the jump, throw your dominant arm above your head and only your dominant arm.. your body will follow with the twist while you're in the air and you will come down switch.
It really is best to practice this a bunch of times on a trampoline until you get comfortable spinning like that in the air because it can be discombobulating, but if you can nail it on a tramp, you can nail it on a kicker!
