Waxing advice

I want to start waxing my skis this year and I would like some advices on what to buy. I only do park so I don't need the best stuff.

What do you recommend me?

Any advice on waxing would be super apreciate! THX

waxes are temperature specific, but since you ski park, just get your basic all season wax. make sure to spend the $40 on a ski wax iron as the temperature is more controlled than your moms iron. Youll also need a plastic scrapper and a nylon brush to finish.

You really don't need those. They are just nice to have. I just set my skis down on an old blanket or towel on top of a table. It works just fine.

And ya just get an all temp wax on the internet or your local ski shop. Usually can get a good wax that will last you a season for pretty cheap.

so I need to wax my park skis only once a year?

For all mountains skis, is it important to do it more than once?

No wax every week or so depending on how much you ski. Just buy the cheapest all temp wax for your park skis or buy specific temp waxes for both sets of skis if you want better performance.

I go about 10 times a month or more and I wax them probably 2 or 3 times in that month. Wax em about every week n a half or two weeks. I would do this for both park and all mtn skis. But it all depends on how much you go.

And I my earlier reply and meant you only need one block of wax. But you use that block throughout the season.
