Alright, so I'm not sure if anyone can help with this, but help would be appreciated(+k to a final solution).
I have a Ti-NSpire CX(Really handy).
Alright, so I type in an evaluation: 1+1 = 2
Then, I tell it to divide by 3. ANS / 3 = 2/3
I press "ctrl">"enter" to evaluate it in decimal form. It re-calculates using the previous value, effectively doing 2/3/3, instead of 2/3, giving me an answer of .22... instead of .333...
Is there a faster way of doing this, or do I have to go to the menu and "Convert to Decimal" or delete the previous expression and go from there?
Example in nice format:
1+1 = 2
ANS / 3 = 2/3
ANS(using ctrl>enter) /3 = 2/3/3 :(
I want 0.333...
Cliffnotes:
How can I convert a previous answer that used the ANS function using the ctrl>enter button as a decimal without using the previous answer? Is this not possible?
Thank you. This will save me time.
