Great thread I'd have started it myself I'd like to know some good new alternative bands and their soundclouds!!!!! 

Been listening to mostly different genres of music last few years and don't know much of anything not huge like Bastille or Fall out Boy.

Pompeii by Bastille is HUGE in Europe and it isnt on soundcloud either its definitely my fav song of 2013 make sure you watch this anyone if you haven't heard this song yet its barely famous over here.  Rest of their stuffs good of course they're huge in Europe.

This is a sick band.  Obviously a folk/country influence but the first song on that is pretty alternative and kinda electro.

Chaos Kid is pretty sick. Not exactly the type of music your asking about but its electronic/ experimental hip-hop. He has some serious Flylo and dilla influence and has his synth production on lock. Definitely needs more exposure.

There are a stupid amount of people doing this sort of stuff on soundcloud, I have no idea how you could pick just a few. Just follow pretty lights music if you like Gramatik and Odesza (I don't, so I can't recommend anything like it). Look at the people I follow if you want more lowkey jazzy complex hip hop influenced fusion instrumentals.

You'd like Flume, Ta-Ku (probably the Soulection label in general), Shlomo...those kinda dudes. They are less subtle, more bassy artists at this point in their careers.
