The future of skiing

I'm picturing a bunch of old men hitting rails and sending flips and shit in 5xl jiberish, and it makes me laugh. Do you think "freesking", or more precisely doing flips and hitting rails in the park, will continue to grow and spread throughout future generations or will a new type of skiing become popular? (I know big mountain skiing is popular as well, but I'm just talking about park since we're very unique compared to the other forms of skiing) I really can not imagine a new type of skiing becoming as popular as skiing in the park, just because it is such an attention grabber to see someone flip on skis to the untrained eye. What do you guys think the future of skiing is?
