No, my younger brother does that. He's a freshman and, as far as I can tell, likes it. Burlington is about as good of a college town as you're going to find.
Graduating in spring from UVM. Fucking depressing, but UVM kicks ass, Burlington kicks ass, and Vermont kicks ass. I have had so much fun here and would recommend it to anyone, you honestly won't regret coming here.
I would put dining at 7 at least. Trinity blows, Cook is typical college dining hall, the Grundle is good, and Redstone is excellent. People always bitch about the Grundle but it isn't bad at all. I miss having on campus dining, it's way more convenient.
checked it out last year, loved it great vibe, burligton is sick, bush and stowe are sick, party scene seems sick, academic side of things seems sick, 50 grand a year is not sick
I graduated last spring. burly and Uvm are fucking awesome. the only downside is the price of both school itself and living in town, but it can be made up for in $1 beers most nights of the week
take whats brewing in food science...yep, they have a beer brewing class, thats what up
Yeah we do, and it isn't bad at all compared to a lot of colleges. Not sure why everyone complains about it. Also, the University/students are pretty heavily involved with getting as local food as possible.
Honestly I can't really speculate on that. It all depends on the concentration you choose (finance, marketing etc.). There are a lot of services offered to help you find internships and such, but ultimately the amount of opportunity you're given depends on how hard you work and in what field.
