I'm really into all sorts of music and the passion for it has really grown. I'm really energetic and when I hear some music poppin somewhere i can never stop just rockin out with my cock out. Anyways, the art of mixing and producing music and putting together stuff that I can play for myself and hopefully other people is really appealing to me. I get a thrill out of a good beat like nothing else.
Id be the first person to say that I am clueless when it comes to music behind the scenes. I don't know the controls, what different parts in a mixing program do, nothing. I'm not knowledgeable about bpm's, synths, whatever.
How do learn about all of this stuff? Most people who DJ and mix for fun have been doing it their whole life. I've always had a passion but I've never tried it and now I want to. Does it take just looking around on google and looking at youtube videos? Any programs you guys recommend I try out to learn the basics?
