Wow, I really Scottish ski resorts for granted - Anytime they try to clip our passes(they did for some people last year who were going into avalanche risk zones(which thankfully nobody got caught in(though did on other days))) we can just tell them to fuck off. Right to roam>all

Getting yelled at by lifties for "cutting" the non-existent line on a tuesday morning because skiing to the bottom of the marked out line then skating back up doesn't seem like a fun time.

But the number one is waiting to hit features in the park.

I understand the high prices of lift tickets/season passes due to large amounts of operational costs, especially in the midwest. 12$ burgers on the other hand grind my gears.

i hope you arent one of these kids but when i went there last year, i saw these kids, that were no-poling, but as they were in the lift line, they took off one ski to push around like a snowboarder.

the jumps are all stepovers bc they are "safer".
Most of the kids are under the age of 13
Hardly any skiers
Park is tailored for young children.

They build a huge 60 foot jump every year in january.

The jump is closed all the time.
Open like 4-5 days during 1 or 2 hours.

towrope breaks down every 15 minutes

the snowboard team (consisting of what seems like hundreds of middle/high school kids) invades the park every night at around 4 and sits on/destroys all the features and stands around in mobs at various points on the hill

Having a mini park right next to actual park, so many young gapers/ people that can barely make turns. Sound system in the park always playing shitty music. Park being snowboarder orientated. Park lift is also race access lift therefor a crap load of racers bombing parks. We don't job there gates so don't race our jibs.

Park City has 100,000 rails and leaves some in from opening day till closing day. They aren't the rails you want in all year either.

-Not being able to go a reasonable speed in slow zones, seriously, if you go the speed they want you'll barely make it back to the lift

with a bunch a shitty lifts here in the midwest, the one high speed lift at, for example, Cascade Mountain, is packed with people so the line is long as fuck. THerefore, I am forced to go to a lift with an equally long line that is maybe less than half the speed.
when racers think they are above and cut in line.
