Bio vs Flat

Hi!
I can't easily make the difference between bios and flats. Sometimes, it's pretty obvious but not always. If the rotation is big (more than a 720), it's easy but under that, sometimes, I can't. A flat 5 looks the same to me as a bio 5 (I know they're not).
Does anyone know a way to see the difference? Cause the positions right before the take-off are pretty similar.

Wrong forum.

And a bio is not even close to a flatspin. A bio is an off axis spin with your body tilted downhill, a flatspin is a flip, basically a lincoln loop on the horizontal plane (as if you were lying on your back and spinning).

Flat 5 and rodeo are arguably the same thing. Bio is a forward cork.

Bio is more comparable to a misty, while a flat is comparable to a rodeo. A bio is just a misty but you don't go off axis as much, or just like said before its a forward cork!

The first one looks like a flat 7 to me and the second like a bio 9! So how do you make the real difference?

Sometimes it can be hard to tell, especially when it is a higher spin, on a smaller jump or filmed at an awkward angle.

A bio is like a forward cork or a misty that does not go inverted. The skiers head is usually first, and it is thrown forward and down.

A flat is like a lincoln loop parallel to the ground or a rodeo that doesn't go inverted. The skis are usually first, and it is thrown backward and to the side.

I can't do these tricks, but this is the way I try to differentiate between the two. Correct me if I'm wrong NS.

a bio above 9 and a rodeo above 9 are effectivly the same thing.

flat you are spining on hz axis on back facing sky..............

rodeo is the forward inward head over heels lesser so than lincolns

cork you are like facing inward and down...............
