going on 34 hours that i've been up...now i'm just delirious...

yep, tightest ski movie of all time. hands down. if you didn't like then you just don't get it...you probably don't pust mustard on your hotdogs, never stray from vanilla ice cream, and probably are set in your ways like an my grandma.

in any case...i thought i'd make the 38th post about this movie.

the midgets: oh my fucking god, you can't imagine it until you see it...they are FUCKING MINDBLOWING, tanner deestroys it, mikeal made me pee in my pants he steezed so hard, pollard does some death defying fakie landings and pollard does his amazing pollard thing.

the midgets will own this sport in like 3 weeks, thats my prophecy.

music is tight, editing is insane, creativity is endless

if you don't get it, well then you just don't got it...

YEs very sick movie one of my favorites dont know what everyones problem was they had me so nervous now im happy




Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

you should see lost in transition (snowboarding movie), has two steezy little kids too, but they aren't as steezy as the midgets.

Try not to think of it as your regular ski movie. If you just watch it everything in the segments flows really well and nothing really looks out of place (other than Evan Rapps poor Dj skills). Also there are alot of minor things to(the saturation of the moss on the cliff changing to match the song during tanner's part). There are just a ton of subtle things that make this movie so sick.

I do agree with you on the Shoya and Mickael segment, I typically skip over it just because they over emphasised the whole pimping thing. Rory's segment is quite weird but pretty cool in it's own respects. I donno what it is about Tanner's segment but everythign seems so well done in it, the skiing is great, the editing is pretty sick in my opinion, I think the whole smoking in the shack thing is just a little bit lifestyle that gives it a nice little touch. But anyways I think I like it just on the creativity alone, these guys had the balls to go out and try something completely new and I respect them for that.

the only thing that pissed me off about tanner's seg was the guy with the glasses and bandana over his face throwing up gang signs. i mean what the fuck, that was just embarrasing.

b-wald, i think the movie is just not for you. i respect that you see both sides of it though and you don't just say it sucks cause your not into it. the RFAs and X's sound like there more for you.

In that movie i'd say that I like Rory's part, Dash's part, and T-Hall's part. The midgets were good too, but i think they should put Phil Casabon in the movie instead.

I know I'm not the only one who hates it, and I know that there are good reasons to hate it and good reasons to love it, but I'm just not feeling the whole atmosphere of the movie. I needs about 40% more skiing and 40% less stupid lifestyle/storyline shots.

I wasn't impressed by Kye at all, I know better 14 year olds that deserve 100% more attention than he does. I think that the skiing was average, with a few amazing shots here and there.

The filming and editing were well done, and the movie as a whole was well put together, but it just doesn't have the feel of great ski movies. And the best part by far was the Minnesota video in the bonus.

That's just my 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

Wski is one of those movies where you either love it or hate it. I can understand why people don't like it either, it's all opinion and for some people it just doesn't flow well. But I am glad that the people who don't care for it too much at least give reasons rather than the usual 'it is gay' phrase.

i'd like to take this opportunity to let the haters know that its just another aspect of skiings progression...we support skiers that throw down in new ways, shouldn't we support and praise the filmmakers that do the same damn thing?

this film is definately art...thats not some absurd title for an undeserving ski flick...its just that good. a lot of work went into it and more importantly it was all done with one theme in mind: everything must be different. iberg and tanner have succesfully laid new ground. i think its a dirty shame that iberg is leaving, i would love to be able to look forward to more progression this time next year.

i don't think its just a difference of opinion, this is a piece of creativity...and if you don't like it, then you don't get it.

i guess at best you can say you don't like it because the style doesn't appeal to you, but you're a fool if you say its crap.
