more than likely this will cause your edges to catch pretty often. Try sanding it down so the bump is no longer there/too small to cause problems, or cut that piece off and attach the 2 pipes to the piece of wood so they are flush.
I went with the cutting off method rather then the sanding, which worked. If you sanded down the bump to a relatively smooth angle so you would ski up and then down it, i think it would work.
