well don't say that mk1 and mk2 i would generally classify as the most classic and recognized designs for the platform. however most pictures posted were just a little on the ricey side.
yes they were ricey but thats all i ever see if i see one. like this
............what is this? sure ive heard VW's are a nice car to drive but i couldnt enjoy my ride knowing i could scrape the bottom of the car on a speed bump
i like mk2s more as well, and the body kits on the cars in OP are fucking tragic. some negative camber and lowered a few inches is cool but those stupid widebody fender pieces are not
i know what you mean when you say that but if you saw a civic lowered with a spoiler and than see a jetta lowered with a spoiler physically whats the difference?
i agree with you but in the sense of if i see an sti ill say "oh sick" if i see a civic with JDM rear lights a fart can and a $90 aluminum spoiler like i saw today ill say "oh wow what a fuck" and more people "rice out" hondas compared to VW's from what ive seen
i dont really know what point youre trying to make due to some grammar problems in there haha but yes, I do also like STIs and yes, I think people rice out civics more often because of the cheapness & availability of aftermarket body mods
haha im trying make my point of riced out VW's not being rice but riced out civics being rice......and yes everytime i go out ill see 1-3 civics with a fart can. gotta say ive seen a few really nice ones
Rice actually is an acronym, Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. They used rice because it was usually the japanese cars so rice kind of fit. Now it is a general term but people like you only associate it with japanese cars still. Not trying to attack you but it is a general term.
Taste. You don't do a bunch of Asian mods to a german car. Its a picky and purely stylistic difference but in the respective tuning communities its a pretty clear cut set of do's and dont's
