Right now I've got last years Halos with Marker griffons on them. My halos are 170s and 84 underfoot I believe. So I've got 90 mm brakes on the markers.. If I purchase the al dentes and want to keep the griffons, are 110 mm brakes too big for a 98 ski underfoot?

Personally I would try to look for 100mm brakes and if thats in the budget buy them but you can use 110's maybe try them on the ski and see how far out they are and if you need smaller ones then you could buy them

Regardless of ski, you should be able to just swap out the breaks for fairly cheap.

Are all brakes compatible with the same brakes? If not where would I find a brake that's 100 mm.. On marker.com they only sell the griffons with 90 and 110s

Honestly the best thing to do is just go to your local shop. Walk in with the skis and bindings and tell them you need the right breaks. There are a TON of break options surprisingly, and getting them close does not usually cut it. I took and mounted Mojo 11s that came with my Heads on my K2 Presses and although its close enough I still have an issue with the breaks not engaging properly about 1/3 of the time. If your shop is not run by assholes they will likely just charge you for the breaks and swap them out for free or very cheap.

going with the 110 brake is perfectly fine. it is less than the 15mm difference allowed. You could look to bend the 90s but they may stick out after that. it would be really awesome if marker would just make a 100mm brake for us to buy. having a 90 or 110 as our only options sucks when you see most skis are 90 - 100 now.

I'd just stick with the 90. 8mm is only 4mm on each side that needs to be cleared, most brakes will still fit around the ski when it's that close (4mm is almost nothing in reality). They may be a bit snug when putting your skis together n such but when you stomp your foot down to click into the binding they'll go up all the same.
