Taos is the bomb ! Lift and hike to terrain , some of best access in the states! IMO...Terrain ranks on par with Jackson, LCC, and the butte. I was fortunate enough to spend 3 days there last season after a good storm cycle ! The ridge feeding kachina is well worth the work to get there ! And I got the first rope drop of the season to access hunzinger bowl and all it's natural features!!

I'm from Rio Rancho. I'll be skiing Taos most of the year with a couple trips to durango, crested butte and monarch. Taos already has a solid base going, it could be a good year.

Nothing against taos, I just enjoy having a bunch of great mountains right next to each other that I can choose from

Yeah new mexico is okay, i mean theres snow sometimes. Im albuquerque native and the main issue i see with resort in NM is they dont innovate. terrain parks are basic as fuck, nothing new or crazy ever and alot of them dont even start building the park until late febuary. Its not the absolute worst place to be for riding but ill leave when i have the means... pretty much working till i can move back to whistler or get up to Colo or Utah
