Going over new years, who's been?

staying in tokyo over new years, then going to myoko kogen to ski for a couple of weeks.

what are some things to do in tokyo? I don't have much tiime there, so I don't want to waste it!

a dude who works in the same shop as me was stayed in the blak diamond lodge whilst the fukishima nuclear disaster was happening, the guys who were meant to come out to also stay in the lodge had to cancel their flights due because of it. basically they got free use of the sleds that the other guys had hired out. soo god damn lucky!

Japan is the coolest friggin place ever, tokyo has so much amazing food. and if you see something that looks like a twinkie, but its has leopard print on it instead, but as much as you can take home with you.

If you like to party, Tokyo is a pretty awesome time. Suggest going out a few nights around midnight/1am. Ropongi is kind of your standard tourist rager, Shibuya has a lot of foreigner friendly clubs that are pretty fun and it isn't quite as crazy as Ropongi.

Plenty of touristy stuff to see too, and although it's a trek you should try to get up to Hokkaido to ski. Nagano is probably easier from Tokyo.

Where you go in Tokyo depends on the kind of experience you want to have. Do you want to have the "weird" Japan type of trip with maid cafes and shit? Or do you want to do more touristy stuff like temples and sushi and all that?

in feudal japan they would abort babys up to 3 weeks after they had been born because they didnt have a soul yet.
