Not necessarily. At least in my case, starting from Calgary/Edmonton you can daytrip/short trip around 10 ski areas. Vancouver you've got 3 super close and whistler. Summit country you've got a fat clump of resorts.
depends where home base is that's all I'm saying. App blows though it's missing a bunch of the smaller places.
Well actually more than that. Some of the places I have been are not on the list. Growing up in Southern New England and then going to college in Northern New England for 5 years I got most of the New England Resorts. I year living and in CO and 3 in Tahoe gave me lots of the Western resorts. 5 seasons in NZ gave a few more. I should really have been to more than 66 resorts.
Yeah! Skiing in South America is really good! I mostly skied in Chile and Argentina like Las Lenas and Valle Nevado. Both are really good place. I usually got my cheap ticket pass and get affordable Ski Packages at SkiOrganizers. You guys should try it! : )
54 in 5 countries, I can't believe how many in Colorado (where I've lived for 28 years) that I've still got to get to. Maybe I'll do a Sunlight, Powderhorn,Silverton loop this winter.
