Ok I have tried that. He just says that its too hot. It's pretty comfortable inside. I'd have to ballpark the temperature to be 65-70 maybe. His justification of opening the window to the 35 degree outside is retarded complaining it's too hot.

in my dorm, the heat is always on and it gets hot as hell. So we leave our window open all the time, plus it keeps the smells down

yep. the longer the windows open- more animals come in- the warmer it'll be . anyone who is looking to save money on heat need to look into this

He's opening a window cause he's hot. I was implying that they turn their heat down to like 60 and just live with the roommate's preferred temp cause it's cheaper. Not leave the heat on for target of 70 and a window open.

obviously everyone is different and has their own personal preferences. 70 is too hot for his preferences (and mine aswell) and 35 is too cold for yours. meet in the middle and find a compromise.

I think you mean cold-blooded. If they were warm-blooded, they would be better-suited to survive in cold environments, which isn't the case.

I wasnt speaking scientifically and I was joking but thanks for the clarification. I'm just from idaho and like the cold a lot and they're all from WA and have never lived in sub 40 degree weather so our thresholds for getting uncomfortable from low temps are crazy different

Maybe he just masturbates a lot, and starts sweating furiously then opens a window to cool off. I mean it makes sense if it always gets opened while you're gone....

In all seriousness, I like FRIGID temperatures. I don't know why, but anything over about 60-63* and I start sweating while just sitting around. Far more comfortable in the cold weather, which isn't a problem now. I just keep my window open in my room, and keep the door shut. When I lived in the dorm, my roommates always liked the cold too, but not as cold as I liked it, so we just turned our air conditioner to 60 degrees and always left it there. Perfect middle ground.

My roommate is from AZ. He saw it snow for the first time in his life back in September. My Girlfriend is from LA where the low mid winter is the high right now. I still keep the window open. One of them is gonna have to adapt because I'm really comfortable and it will be fifteen below when we wake up for that 8am mid winter.

Get a warmer blanket and get some fresh air in your room, or you can bitch about. I think the cold is in your head OP, not the outdoors
