Always a year behind

haha i hate it how every year new movies come out and your like holy shit that stuff is nuts and then you go out on the slope and throw down what they were and you get all pumped untill you see new trailers for the new movies and it just seems like i am always a year behind. On rails, i just need to keep progressing, becuase i throw down what they do, but on jumps im a little farther behind becuase we dont get to hit the size jumps they have and set ups. being a year behind sucks haha.

Yeah dude i know what you mean.. I can't keep up with the pros myself, but I always think that the stuff in the videos is the craziest stuff ever.. And then i see the trailers and i'm just like 'What?!!?! You cant do that!'

I'm pretty sure you're not just a year behind all the pro's. Otherwise you'd be doing swith d-spin 10's, lincoln's off of 80 ft + cliffs, and backflips to rails at least.

well no he makes perfect sense ive thought about it before. if u rely on movies like most people do to see the new crazy stuff u will always be a year behind. Movies that came out this year are from the 2003/2004 season, and now its the 04/05 season that you learn it. the only way to stay ontop is to ski with top pros that are progressing every day. not a really ridiculous thread its fine

In jumps and pipe im so far behind but rails there are allways new possbiltys. But even that i am a year behind, fucking Ianick this year il check up to what he did last year.
