Do yourself a favour and get this mag! It's worth it on so many levels, not least of which is that you can officially claim to own a piece of freeski history. Honestly, it will make you want so badly to get in it next year - and you can. That's the fucking beauty of it.

Looks amazing! I would honestly love one of these but the cost to ship it down here to NZ is 40 USD. Is that honestly the cheapest option because although this is probably going to be the best ski magazine ever I don't think that is a fair shipping price (if for some reason it is please elaborate haha). If there is any cheaper option I will grab one of these for sure!!

Hey it's telling me 30$ for shipping to Canada... I keep clicking where it says click here for cheaper Canadian shipping but nothing happens? Is that really how much shipping is?

I think I read somewhere that it would be on newstands.. can anyone tell me where? Loblaws/superstore? Shoppers?

All of the news and photo content that came from users also is coming with a solid payout for that media. The top rated features journalist got a solid payout for his feature. The video people had great opportunity to make money on their content over the previous year.

Admittedly, the forum content doesn't come with payment, but it comes with a solid amount of recognition for positively adding to the ever-raging debate about issues we all face. They're treated like interview subjects on topics, and are all given quote recognition.

We here at Newschoolers aren't trying to steal content and profit off of it... we're trying to create an entirely new ecosystem where content creators can make a share of ad revenue off of what they do.

There is absolutely no desire to leach off of our community. We will never do that. We are here to create an entirely new set of opportunities and revenue for people everywhere.

I personally contacted every single photographer who has a photo in the magazine. Not only do we ask them for their permission, but we pay them full print payouts for their images.

For example, Peter Cirilli is getting 350$ for a photo he uploaded 9 months ago that's running as a spread.

That's the internet dude -- the only difference is that we always ask permission and always compensate the content creator.

If TGR were to use any of your footage from your CO-LAB edit, do you think they would pay you for it?
