Gear Priority

Noobschoolers!

I am in need of your assistance.

My season pass has drained me from all my funds and I am in need of new gear. But as to that I am fiscally crippled, I can only purchase so much gear at any given point of time. So, here is a list of what I am going to purchase throughout season in order of highest priority to lowest.

1. New Helmet (strap on my old helmet is falling off)
2. Dem Mittens
3. Jacket (to replace a shell, which doesn't keep me warm.)
4. New Clear Crowbar Lens (cannot see through shitty iridium lens)
5. Hoodie
6. Hookers & Blow

What order should I buy my gear in? And how can I save some money in the process?

buy sheepskin mittens from Wal-Mart for 8 bucks. Treat them with a waterproofing agent of your choice.

Instead of a hoodie, I bought some work brand of insulated flannel at Walmart for $9 and tailored it in on the sides a bit.

As the guy above me said, sheepskin mitts or leather work gloves with liners.

Your only genuine problem is your current "cold jacket". Just spend €50 on a no-name merino sweater to wear under it. Then the rest on ski passes.

Hookers and blow, then helmet.

blow will stop you from being cold and help you see through iridium
wont need mittens cause you can get yo fists in the hooker
