i'm talking bout moguls and aerials vs gs and slalom etc. it makes me so made when some canadian gets 11 place in some gs world cup in france and makes like front page sport section, but when aerialists and mogul people gget first it barely gets any recognition. i don't know if its the same t hing down south but in canda we have freestylers that kill it but don't get half the recognition as raceers. i hate it!....i'm not even going to get to the fact that why dave chritgton isn't a canadien hero, newschool is different, i'm just talking bout freestyle

freestyle skiing is a dying sport, and racing has been around for hundreds of years... just a thought.

I think its the opposite of what Liam has said. Freestlye is just starting to get bigger and more popular and but racing has been around forever so it has more recognition now

racing is dominate because the average joe can relate more to it...some flat lander has a race suit in his closet so he feels like a racer...thats y its more popular...more people can relate.

yeah, I was out of line there. and I definitely agree that DC should be a national icon. I might add that he is a NASTY bump skier.

yeah but why bother, do your own thing.
I think big mountain skiings getting bigger and bigger, everyone wants phat skis to rip powder with.
