Magic Lantern help

Hi guys,
So I have a t3i, and I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to put Magic Lantern on it? I know that it voids your warranty, (I'm 14,I break things) and could harm the camera. Many sources (including magic lantern themselves) have said that it is not as good on the t3i as some other canon cams. Do the benefits outweigh the risks??

I put it on my T3i and I really didn't see much of a difference. plus I also managed to destroy my memory card in the process because I am a dumbass and didn't read the correct uninstall directions on magic lantern.

Not much of a difference as in it didn't affect the camera? Or the software is just not much different.

The software was totally different, I just don't think it effected the camera performance that much.

I disagree, completely. Magic Lantern is awesome.

The things I like about it:
-Audio bars during video recording
-Audio gain control, ability to turn off AGC and select different and separate inputs for both left and right audio
-Built in intervalometer, dope for time lapses
-Manual control of white balance in live view


Thats all I can think of on the spot... There are a bunch of other sweet features too, that I don't use too often. Like you can make the face detector that usually turns off the LCD light into a trigger for taking long exposure photos...

And seriously, that a glimpse of the capabilities of ML. I can't shoot without it anymore, loving the follow focus setting.
