Which kind of skates to practice skiing?

I'm trying to practice grinding rails for skiing by using skates, and I'm wonder if I should use the classic 4-wheel rollerblades or aggressive in-line skates. I have rollerblades right now, they're a bit hard to slide on because the grind is done on the wheel. Which type of skates would be better?

Aggressive skates. Theres a big difference between inline skates and aggressive skates. They can be pricey but some aren't too bad

check the thread in my sig for info. if you're looking for cheap blades, rollerwarehouse always has stuff for cheap. As far as selection... it doesnt matter as much for someone who's never ridden other skates. Personally, i'm a fan of USD carbon frees and razors SL's. Most skates are 'good' though. It's lot of preference. go check the site and see what interests you and post back. rollerwarehouse.com or aggressivemall.com
and also, the obligatory encouragement to skate no only to practice skiing, you'll look silly doing tons of swaps and will be missing out on other tricks.
at the very least it'll help your landings since you have like a foot or less of landing space with skate on.

ice skates help you not catch edges once you take it to the real mountain. I recommend just taping knives to the bottom of your feet, and practicing on the homeless.
