There has been a lot of posts about these skis and the general consensus is that they rip but no one mentioned what size they rode. I am stuck between the 177s and 185s. Im 6' 185 and ski everything. also where is the best place to mount them? at the line, +2, +5?

my friend is about your size...he bought the 177 and they seem fine

I'm buying some myself...but 166...
cant help you with the mounting sorry...
by the way how much did you find them for??

he weighs 185lbs though. he should be able to control the 185s, unless he is a terrible skier. i have the 190 v-pros and i weigh about 10 or 15lbs more then him and i'm 4 inches taller too. i have almost over powered them, but they are pretty stiff. if he's gonna ride pow, deff go with 185s.
