I'll be in Baden, Switzerland for all of next season, and I was just wondering where (within a day trip of Baden, preferably) I should get a pass. Feel free to post your favourite resort or touring spot even if it's not in that range, since I'll be making lots of weekend/weeklong trips too.
Cheers,

VERBIER VERBIER VERBIER
the sickest freeride/backcountry in the world hands down. get some friends (im presuming your competent have a vox etc?) and go right to the top of Mont Fort and then of the backside...into wonderland.
If the weather isnt too hot just go half way up to the mid-station from Tortin cable and walk past the restaurant and onto the single green cablecar to Mont Gele, off to the right. Here there is some sick pow and some nice cliff drops. Alternatively you could ski the Verbier Ride run, which is the 'Bec Des Rosses', go to the top of Mont Fort as before and then traverse right forever, until you are standing on top of the world: beneath there is the sickest run imaginable (you have to be hot shit to even think about doing it).
hope thats of some use!
oh yeah, in the same vein as Verbier is Emosson, which featured quite heavily in Salomon adverts last year...

Thanks for the advice guys
Anyone know what the train sitch is like from Baden (basically Zurich) to either Verbier or Zermatten? Is this a doable day trip?
Which of those two gets more snow? Also, which has a nicer park?
PS. If any of you want to meet up next season in Switzerland for a little touring session, let me know...we could really use some local bc knowledge when we're there!
