Lost hampster

ok so I lost my hampster over the weekend and I found him tonight living behind my fridge and in the motor of my fridge... does anyone have any experince with removing hampsters from fridges??

ok here'e what you do, unplug the fridge,pull it away from the wall, open it up, bring him out, put him in his cage, clean behind the fridge because you will probably discover nasty stuff back there, put it back. If he doesn't make it, it's his own fault. Hazard of the trade I guess

That's happened with a couple different hamsters I've had... They like to craw underneath and behind the heaters, and it's a bitch to get them out. Your hamster will probably be really skiddish, so I'd wear work gloves if I were you.

Anyway, it'll be getting really hungry soon, so something that worked really well for me was putting food in a dish and watching it. It'll come out, trust me. That, or one time we used a larger metal bowl and had a board going up to the rim of it... We put some food in the bowl and a couple of pieces at the top of the board, and it worked like a charm.

not with fridges... but one time my hamster (max) climbed out of his cage and we couldnt find him for like a week. then we found him stuck in the insulation fiber glassy stuff in our furnace room. he was still alive when we took him out, but died a few days later. :( poor maxy... he's still buried in my yard i think.

ok this really works!! my dad went and bred a buttload of mice for our snake a while ago and a couple got stuck behind our piano. we didn't know how to get the mice out so we started playing really really loud music. the reaction was instantaneous. just take some speakers, hook them up in your kitchen and let it rip! no seriously, this is no lie. it really bothers the animals and it will work. try it

^ that is really gross. does that mean she didn't clean her couch for a year? ewwww. my hamster went under our dishwasher once and wouldn't come out. we put some food out in front and eventually she came out. just be patient.

I've been in this situation before

First ur gonna wanna lure 'em out with somma dem snack cakes or chips

then when he peaks his little head out, snatch him up by the whiskers and give 'em a good shake

once hes a bit rattled, grab a dish and pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees...

Ok well last night I had him out of the motor and everythign but the thing is a prick and escaped and well he is so fat and well kept that today I walked by his cage where his food bowl remained nad who was inside stuffing his lil cheecks full?? So yes I did catch him and hes in lockdown hes not allowed out anymore even to play in his ball. Thanks for the stories and suggestions guys...

buying animals when drunk is funny. one of my friends once bought a donkey accidently when he was drunk. the next day this guy showed up to deliver it and my friend was like wtf.
