Well i just got my account figured id help you out since this thread took a bad turn early. Got my '14 chronics a few weeks ago, mounted with look pivot 14s [AT CENTER] and bought last years FT dropkicks at the same time(new). so my review might be a little biased since its not often i get all new gear(snapped my danollies and had the main heel/calf structure peice on my il moros ripped in half? il post pictures of those soon:/).
ANYWAY, i live in Albuquerque NM and i took 3 trips to wolf creek these past two weeks for some early season snow on the chronics and HOLY SHIT I CAME. Really though best skis ive ever owned, took two runs and i was hitting little homemade kickers all over the mountain and pulling all my normal stuff. mainly one footed fronts, butter 5s and other shit (been skiing park two years now). Anyway awesome softish flex with suprising amount of spring for how playful it feels. didn't notice the Asymmetry really when switch and at the end of the day my legs werent fucked up from backseat landings, little because my new boots fit well and somewhat because how nice the flex pulls you forward when you land on your tails.
Bitchin skis for park, rides awesome all over the mountain(at lease the softish preseason snowpack right now), waists thin for powder and the early rise is pretty mellow but im sure they do fine if you can get past it.
Summed up: Your definitely gonna have a good time when you get to ski those brotha
