Scratched my iphone screen, +k for helpful suggestions!
So im not sure how, but I ended up scratching my iphone screen. The scratches aren't that big, just very noticeable and annoying. Any nser's have any suggestions besides replacing the screen on how to get rid of the scratches? +k for helpful suggestions!
Not sure but maybe they make some type of filler you can put in the scratches, like in those sunglasses commercials. Make sure you use a screen protector next time.
build a time machine, go back to before you scratched it, then go to your local mall cell phone case kiosk and buy one of those glare/scratch protector screens. theyre like $10 definitely worth it
it will buff out, you just need an electric sander with some high grit sandpaper (anything above 270 will work). its not rocket science from here, just sand that screen down till the scratch disappears. i did it to my iphone last week after i scratched it and it came out smoother than it was new
My friend changed his screen himself. You can buy a new screen online for a couple bucks, not sure how he did it...but you all should be able to, he doesnt have any special skills or experience.
my old phone case had griptape on the back of it so it wouldnt slide out of my pocket. so i but the case in my pocket without it on my phone and the grip just shredded my screen. my screen has texture now. deal with it OP. plus the camera is so scratched i can only take selfies now
because screen covers look like shit. IMO there is no point in putting that or a big bulky case on and ruining the sleek and sexy feel of an iphone. If youre a person who cant take care of your shit, go for it
Ive had a naked iphone since day one and going on 2 years now. Its survived many drunken nights, in my pocket skiing, etc etc. Sure it has some scratches on it but its so worth it not to put a cumbersome otterbox or a screen protector that ruins the vividness of the retina display (or any display for that matter. Im not actually even a big fan of the iphone)
This pretty much sums it up, And btw i wasnt bitching about it everyone, I was just asking a friendly question if you guys had any ideas. Thanks for everyone's help.
