skis for mammoth

i'm 5-8 145lbs 19yrs 26.5 atomic race boots

skied for 10 years...quit to snowboard...skiing again because trips to europe with a snowboard suck and I'd rather ski there b/c everyone i'm going with skis...so i can ski pretty well but not spectacular...

skiing off the top, wazoo, dragons back, chair 9, hemlocks, avy chutes. On days after storms, not on pow days, as I snowboard on pow days...so mostly windpack, leftover pow, crud, etc...a little pipe, less park.

I'm thinkin Skogen 178, Volkl Karma 177 or Seth pistol 169 or 179? Any reccomendations?

I'm going to demo the 179 pistols this weekend I think...hopefully going to wolf creek or somewhere with good snow...lemme know if this is a good/bad idea.

Sorry for the super long post...It's just that I'm about to drop a grip of cash and I wanna get the right shit. You guys seem to really know what's up.

If I lived at Mammoth, I'd get me a pair of T-Halls...that's all you need for Mammoth.

get the pistols. they're awesome in pow but can still hold a decent edge on ice/hardpack. and they're pretty functional in the park, as well.
