IMO it as close to skiing the west as you can get on the east coast.

You will love JAy

trails you should ski:
beaver pond glade
timbuktu
upper river quai
kitzbuhel
exibition
valhalla
kitz woods

pros;
best terrain in the east
most snow in the east
killer vibe

Cons:
Can get really windy and lifts may close
Not a ton of begginer slopes but the intermediate and advanced slopes are amzing

be chill with locals and youll find more spots

hoping i can get up there again this year, favorite mountain on the east by far

i'll just put it this way, i went to Utah this past Feb, and went to Jay like a day after i got back and Jay had much better conditions than anywhere i went. this was after like a 3 foot dump though

Jay Is amazing!! The Mythical Jay Cloud is notorious for huge dumps. The storms pick up moisture off lake Champlain, And when they hit Jay It doesn't stop snowing. The terrain is amazing especially the Face Chutes and all the Glades.

can someone tell more abou this area. is this where u go in to quai and keepgoing strait into the woods.
What are the glades like like in there.

idk man i just remember going under the tram tower, then traversing for quite a ways through real tight trees, then there was two lines, one had two decent drops, 10 and 15 feet maybe, and the other line was really open. you can sort of see them to the left when youre riding the flyer and you get to the really windy spot where the old double used to end (top of exhibition)
