No i don't, because if i don't that technically will increase my ski life by half, i have a set rule, when i am hiking a rail, i will aways switch the skis after EVERY hit. The reason i do this is because on one pair of skis had, i had always had one ski on one foot , and one of the skis had the edge come of in a matter of 25 days(i hit a lot of rails).
I change side whenever doing urban/rail/boxes and keep the other for everything else so that I have a perfect non raped edge side on both skis that I use to carve on groomers. Doesn't really matter since I wax/edge my skis quite often
To be honest I don't really think it would change anything technically. I have last years chronics and it kinda forces you to put them on the way the graphic goes it else you end up looking like a goon.
i make sure they go together so the graphic is matching. if they are on the wrong foot my ocd kicks in cause i know thats not how the graphic goes and it bugs me so much.
Mine always go on the same foot. I have last years thalls (the silver ones) and i rocket them on the wrong feet when I first got them, rode them like that ever since.
for the first time in years i have a pair of skis with the same graphic on both skis. now i will be able to switch them off and even not care which ski goes on which foot. after years of ocd kicking in due to graphics connecting through both skis is no more.
yea i used to switch back and forth for training and racing edges when i raced by putting them on one way or the other...dont see a need for it in park though, good to change them up every now and again to avoid wear.
if you dont ever switch them it will really cause one side edge to wear faster than the other. Unless of course youre keeping it real with a bunch of different way tricks
I try not to think about it and whatever way I throw my skis on the snow I step into them that way
i do this but i have no edges anyway, and there is no getting them back. but in my BC skis i do because the graphic makes a lion face, and you got to have jah with you in the back country. JAH BLESS
I use the same ski on the same foot everytime, considering I ride the 2012-2013 halos, they not only have a sweet graphic that require same foot usage but the ski itself is slightly directional for each foot which requires i use the same foot everytime
always have the sticker on the same side. If I switch them it just feels weird, from hitting rails the inside edge of my right ski is basically not there
I put them on the same feet but every once in awhile I switch it up. On a different topic I've noticed that my right ski is more flexible than the left..hmmm
