Hey guys! Just wanted to create an official spot where everyone can drop their opinions and share some photos of the Yearbook with us.

- Photos of you and your favourite spread from the Yearbook
- The Yearbook on newsstands (please include your location!)
- Any other rad photos of you with the Yearbook / NS stickers / etc.

What we might hook you up with in return:

I think you should make a chilled out version of the ski boss cause its a little crazy now,
say for example two yearbooks, stickers one t shirt and one hat with some goodies like a lanyard thrown in as well. Its just a bit big atm in my opinion


also for next year make a grand package with the NS skis, with like 10 available that get skis signed by both jasons.

First off, UN-FUCKING-REAL. the whole mag is incredible and i couldn't stop smiling while reading it

Both positive and negative feedback:
-Loved all the photos, every spread was sick.
-The cover photo is probably my favorite ski shot of all time, its been the background on my phone since it was POTD. I think it might be a tad over edited on the cover but whatever.
-REALLY liked Ethan's article, extremely well written. Maybe include 2 feature articles in next year's.
-Layout was good.
-Paper/print quality is perfect, definitely sets it apart.
-having trouble coming up with things i dont like.

Suggestions for the following year
-Throw some more lifestyle shots in like pictures of an equipment-packed car, setting up an urban spot, just fun pictures of people stoked to be on snow, similar to the first ON3P ad.
-Maybe make it a little less serious and throw some tanner hall rage faces in, solid 7 girl, etc.
-Put some fold out posters in there, kids love that shit.
-Coinciding with the name (yearbook), it should have a section for the more popular members to post a picture of themselves and write a few sentences. Could also do a 'meet the mods and admins' section. I think more transparency in general would be really cool for both news/photo/video guys and top posters


- New NS Store items you'd like to be sold in Yearbook packages

So I walked in to a 7/11 in Regina Sk the other day with my gf, keep in mind Saskatchewan is one of the least likely places you'll find anything skiing related, and guess what I find in the midst of a bunch of wrestling/tattoo/car magazines? The and yearbook. Seriously I was so surprised when I saw it, like I'm in a 7/11 run by a bunch of Indian dudes in a small prairie town, and I find a Newschoolers magazine. There wasn't even like freeskier or abc skier magazines there, it was just the NS one. A couple days before that I had ordered one online as well as a sticker pack, and I read the whole thing in the 7/11 lol. Anyways some feedback for it would be to have a lot more articles and content! It was a relatively short magazine and took me like 5 mins to get through most of it, and although the pics and stuff were sweet there wasn't that much other stuff! I would've liked if it was longer, but it was still sick nonetheless! Keep it up guys.

Oh yeah and like everyone else said lanyards would be sick! And NS beanies would be awesome too! As for the magazine I loved the texture of the paper and I liked the layout and the cover page was awesome and really caught my attention.

Next year definitely needs more articles like Ethan's and fewer Q&A's. I mean, they were good, but it got a little old when it felt like half the articles were Q&A's

I must take back my criticism of the idea. I just saw it at the most random gas station in Golden (through Powder distribution I assume). Maybe it's my ADD or my memory like a goldfish but, hot damn, that shit was fresh. I think it was the grimier photography of features that weren't REDBULL. It was a nice refresher. I apologize for standing at the gas station and reading it for free. I will probably venture up and buy it soon enough. Props

Just got one from my local Barnes, and keep doing what your doing! It was fucking great.

As has been said, maybe more on popular members and some more on the mods/admins/purple names.

But really, I can't complain, read it cover to cover and its replaced Powder in the bathroom for a while.

If you could pick up a copy from newsstands we would be eternally grateful! Its nice to show that there is demand for it out in the traditional means of distribution, which in the future will help us push this to even higher quality standards.

I'm really glad that you felt that way about the vibe of it. That was really what this project was centered around... the idea that there is no better way to break the mould of what is out there than by taking what we do here every day and re-purposing into a super cool and permanent format like that. You don't get the same experience on a site with flowing, fleeting content that you do from the limited pages of a print mag. So little stuff can actually make it in there that it forces a really high level of quality when you pair down the limitless nature of the internet.

For those saying you read it in five minutes... sure it was a bit of a shorter mag (first year), but there's no way you read Ethan's feature in five minutes. That was completely new content, and whoever is at the top of our features journalists next year are going to get the same opportunity.

Any aspiring writers out there should put out a few long-format pieces on the site. We absolutely want to expand on the idea of having some fresh content mixed in with the collectable top shit from the site.

There's a big future for this thing if we all work together. We could have a ton of fun with it.
