Ski vs food

ski bum tomato soup (never actually been that disparate but ive seen friends do it)
-cup of hot water (free or like 10 cents at the lodge)
-a few packets of ketchup (free)
-salt and pepper packets (free)
if you're lucky the lodge will have free crackers for soup too

it tastes disgusting


i normally just toss one of the $.10 packets of ramen in my bag/pocket and make it in a cup of hot water and season with whatever condiments the lodge has

freshman year of college, ran out of meal-points, had all my cash 'invested' in a foolproof personal entrepreneurship plan (drugs). but, between my full tank of gas and rides from friends i was able to ski 4 days in a row over a long weekend. i stole 6 packages of ramen and about 10 clif bars from the student store, and it was the only food i ate. the next week when my meal-points replenished, i was so malnourished that i passed out in the cafeteria while waiting in line for my first real meal in 5 days.

moral of the story: don't believe people when they say you can ski every day and live off ramen. you can't.

Every place I've been to has had great food, but I usually don't get any because it's expensive as shit. I eat breakfast on the way up at dawn, bring a bagged lunch, and eat Wendy's on the way home.

My biggest mistake though was probably drinking 5 Nos energy drinks in a day. That was not good for me...
