FS700 Basketball Edit

Hey guys, here's a quick basketball edit I made with the FS700 at 120fps. Can't wait to film some skiing with winter with this camera!

It's for recruiting. and I wanted to test the fs700 out during sunset on my glidecam. I was trying to get some angles that are normally used in a basketball video. I'm glad you liked that pov shots my favorite is the one at 0:16 when the ball bounces right up at the camera.

what picture profiles are you running?

Didn't seem up to par, not sure if it was the lighting or the setting.

Just the standard picture profile. I haven't used the camera much yet and didn't know what picture profile was best to use. I'm going to try and rent it again to test the setting more.

The light was kinda shit too. I wanted to get the sunset and skyline and players exposed well but it was hard cause we lost light pretty fast. I used 2 1x1 lite panels for the night shots

Yeah it happens, you can do some amazing work inside the fs100/700 which will take your image to the next level.

Yea I need to play with it and learn the camera better. I'm used to canon, red and arri camera. Got to get familiar with them sonys. Are the picture profiles similar to canons. Can you upload custom ones

Very different than dslrs, lots of different details you can tweek.

Id suggest browsing dvxuser.com's fs100/700 section, tons of great info

seems like the canon c300 and sony fs700 picture profiles setting look pretty similar. Ill have to mess around with the fs700's setttings more next time I use it.
